To ensure the safety of all participants in the congress, and to comply with local regulations we have taken a range of different measures. We will update this information if there are any changes.
We are asking all delegates to provide proof of vaccination or immunity, or to show a recent negative test result before entry to the congress site.
If you have not been vaccinated, you will need to take a test to enter. You should not attend on any day if you have tested positive for COVID-19, are displaying symptoms or are required to self-isolate. It is our policy for all delegates to wear masks inside the congress centre. Speakers can remove their masks during presentations. Masks can also be removed for eating and drinking.
Those who have medical reasons not to wear masks are exempt.
If you need to take a Covid test while you are in Glasgow the latest government advice on testing and the locality of test centres can be found at https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-getting-tested
Sanitising stations are available throughout the venue for your use.
Ventilation has been increased, improving fresh air circulation and changing the air handling units to draw in fresh air, rather than recirculating air.
There are enhanced cleaning routines throughout the venue with a focus on high touch point areas.
The venue is very large and could accommodate many thousands of delegates so there should be plenty of space for delegates to social distance both in sessions and when moving around the site.
Many of the rules for entering the UK from other countries have been relaxed, however there are still some restrictions in place so please check the UK government website for details for travelers from specific countries. You may need to complete a passenger locator form, provide a negative Covid test or show proof of vaccination to enter the UK.
You should also be aware that there are a few differences between England and Scotland – so for example if you fly directly to Glasgow the procedures may be different from flying into London. Here are some links to follow for the latest information for UK arrivals.
